THE CHINESE, NOT BRUCE WILLIS, WILL SAVE US FROM THE ASTEROID
Scientists at Tsinghua University in Beijing have revealed their solar sail plan to deflect an asteroid that could hit the Earth in 2036.
Apophis was discovered in 2004, and it’s first close call with Earth will occur on April 13, 2029. Scientists do not expect impact, though the asteroid will pass through the orbit of geosynchronous communications satellites.
The asteroid will pass by again in 2036, with a 1 in 250,000 chance of hitting the Earth.
Fun fact: Apophis is named after the villain in Stargate. The scientists who first discovered the asteroid are huge Stargate:SG-1 fans.

A map of the chief plains and craters of the Earth’s Moon. The plains were originally supposed to be seas: hence the name “Mare.”
The Moon is about 238,857 miles (384,403 km) from Earth on average. At its closest approach (the lunar perigee) the moon is 221,460 miles (356,410 km) from the Earth. At its farthest approach (its apogee) the moon is 252,700 miles (406,700 km) from the Earth. The moon revolves around the Earth in about one month (27 days 8 hours). It rotates around its own axis in the same amount of time. The same side of the moon always faces the Earth; it is in a synchronous rotation with the Earth.
The Moon’s orbit is expanding over time as it slows down (the Earth is also slowing down as it loses energy). For example, a billion years ago, the Moon was much closer to the Earth (roughly 200,000 kilometers) and took only 20 days to orbit the Earth. Also, one Earth ‘day’ was about 18 hours long (instead of our 24 hour day). The tides on Earth were also much stronger since the moon was closer to the Earth.
Most scientists believe that the moon was formed from the ejected material after the Earth collided with a Mars-sized object. This ejected material coalesced into the moon that went into orbit around th Earth. This catastrophic collision occurred about 60 million years after Earth itself formed (about 4.3 billion years ago). This is determined by the radioisotope dating of moon rocks.

Orbits of the Planets
A scale model of the orbits of the planets in our solar system. The inner planets’ orbits and sun are to the same scale. They would fit in the smallest orbit of the outer planets. The sun’s light takes over 4 hours to reach neptune at a mean distance of 4,504,300,000 kilometers.

Precession
Precession of Earth’s rotational axis (The Earth’s Wobble) takes approximately 26,000 years to make one complete revolution. Through each 26,000-year cycle, the direction in the sky to which the Earth’s axis points goes around a big circle. In other words, precession changes the “North Star” as seen from Earth. Nothing’s fixed. Not even a fixed star.

I Ching Spherical
I found a template for this work in an interesting passage researching the Mathematical connections between Hesiod’s “Theogony” and the I-Ching.
This is really heavy stuff and i don’t know too much about it, but it looks quite cool and has some great cosmic mystery in it. As far as I found out, it’s a spherical structure constructed from the 64 hexagrams of the ancient I Ching, and as such, it represents the Chinese cosmology in the mythical past. The spherical arrangement clearly represents the unity and the completeness of the world. It’s all about Yin and Yang.

Mayan Interdimensional Star Map
This is the Galactic Crystal Hologram, the Mayan Interdimensional Star Map, showing Earth in relation to the Galactic Whole. I found the template and description for this image here.
Synchronized with the information streams of Supernova 1987A, the GM108X mind transmission stream is a direct discharge from the Omnigalactic Source through the Hunab Ku (Galactic Center).The purpose of the beam is to place Earth in synchronization with the universal plan for cosmic unification. The peak point of the synchronization occurs in 2012, Dreamspell Kin 207.
Between the Sirius system and the AA-Midway is the Pleiades. It is in the focalizing center of the central channel. This is because the Pleiades provides the unifying point for the solar 26,000-year rotation = 1 Platonic or solar year.
